Position Name: Account Manager


Our client is a Tier I supplier of interior systems and components. Due to growth in their business they have a need for a Sr. Account Manager.

This position is responsible for identifying new business and maintaining current business with the automotive OEM customers. This will include cultivating customer relationships, ongoing sales planning, and account management.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Function as key contact person to customers

* Manage current business

* Negotiate commercial items

* Coordinate and implement design changes

* Promote company as strategic partner to customers

* Develop and implement quote schedule to meet customer expectations

* Make quotations for new business RFQ and engineering changes

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

* Bachelors degree

* 5+ years total experience in sales in the automotive industry

* Previous customer experience with GM is preferred

* Strong leadership skills and coaching skills

* Strong communication skills

* Self-motivated and self-directed

Location: Troy, Michigan
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 + bonus + car
